The installation and qualification of our 3rd Natural Gas Fired Pit Furnace, capable of performing Pack Cementation or Vapor Phase Aluminide (VPA) Coating, is now complete.

R-512® RUNS HOTTER, LONGER:

HOT PULP? HIRAMIC® PREVENTS STICKING AND LASTS
Hiramic® continues to perform in areas where other surfaces fail. Every day, hiramic is proving itself in hot environments where sticking combined with wear are problems. In one exciting application wood pulp is run at high speed over hiramic coated drying roll at an elevated temperature without sticking. Now other material offered non-stick with wear resistance.

HiMed was formed in 1991 to manufacture and sell bioactive materials and coating services. Primary users of HiMed's materials and coating services are in the Dental, Medical and Scientific Research communities.
HiMed has a wide variety of calcium based materials in a variety of forms including coating powders, abrasives, and solid shapes such as discs, blocks, and cylinders.

HITEMCO SOUTHWEST BRINGS HUGE CURING OVEN "ON-LINE"
Hitemco Southwest has finished installation and testing of what is believed to be the largest, high temperature oven for curing fluoropolymers (HiMax, Hiramic, Dykor, Excalibur, Teflon, Teflon-S, Silverstone/Supra, Halar, Tefzel, PFA, PTFE, Xylan, etc.), and other high performance plastics.
"While we are already the market leader in the application of fluoropolymer coatings on very large and heavy parts, we are very excited about this new oven as it significantly expands our current work envelope. As an added bonus, the extra capacity improves our production throughput and offers more flexibility in scheduling large parts," says Charlie Most, Senior Product Manager.
At 60' in length and with a 15' by 15' cross section, significantly larger rolls, mandrels, vessels, tanks, columns, pipe and sheet can now be handled.
